WAG Louise Redknapp knows a thing about spotting someone with fancy footwork - well she is married to ex-soccer ace Jamie.

That may be why the former Eternal singer has been signed up as guest judge on the BBC's new talent show, So You Think You Can Dance.

She will sit alongside axed Strictly expert Arlene Phillips and Popstars judge and original "Mr Nasty" Nigel Lythgoe. He has made his name in the States judging hopefuls on the US version of the show.

Louise, who pulled off hot dance moves in the video for No 1 hit Naked, will sit in on the Manchester leg of the auditions.

Good for her, but every TV show has a judging panel on it now. Getting a bit boring I think.

yes Naked got to number 5 but never less a smash hit single
i think its good as seems Louise & Kéllé seem to be the only ones with any drive in them (less drive than they used to have though)

"Drive"? Vernie is a barrister. I think that requires | LOT of drive considering how long it takes to get qualified and how much work you need to put it, especially coming from a pop music background. As for Easther, I don't think she wants to be in the public eye.

Well drive to be in the "public eye" is a different thing. I guess it's not all it's cracked up to be. If Easther and Vernie were desperate they could always do rubbish reality TV shows - even on a cable channel - but they've got more class. I think the fact that they haven't done a ton of rubbish programmes is credit to them.

Thats your view but Easther and Vernie am sure if they could get the jobs the grab them but they did not really have the best reps the last time .

Louise and Kéllé are getting Jobs Louise even more so and some are not the best but i bet it pays the bills and keeps her profile up. and will led to better things like building blocks working her way up.

I wish thy would come back and show the stars of todays music how it was done as they are great singers

But my view is they would love to do what the other 2 do
who would have thought that Louise would do the best out of the 4 of them

but i promise to be fair to all 4 in my book.

and 1977 i don't want to fight with you as we always seem to do lets just agree to differ

I completely disagree. Easther and Vernie would probably not want to do panto and A Farmer Wants a Wife. They aim to be singers, not people who want to desperately cling onto their fame or get their kit off. That's why I think Easther and Vernie have class. Lots of these TV shows are degrading and mind-numbing.

I think being a barrister is very creditable. Not something which is easy to achieve.

As for their reps. We all know it's due to them sacking First Avenue for not letting them write songs. Then Kéllé staying with First Avenue and badmouthing them. Kéllé was a lot nicer to Easther when the reunion tour was going to happen in 2006. Funny that. $

It was Not just Kéllé who was badmouthing them there was a lot of People and i would not say Louise was desperately trying to cling onto her Fame is she was she would not have done size Zero that was hard for her. And Yes A Farmer Wants a Wife was not the best show For Louise to do but everyone makes mistakes . as getting kit off it helped sell Records and she had the body to do so and even Louise says it was not the real her
