The Bennets had a reputation long before Kelle left the band, and if there was any interest in them as solo artists, they'd have been offered contracts - there wasn't, so they weren't. It's that simple. A bit of conroversy for the tabloids to lap up would have done them nothing but good - take a look at the Sugababes.
Billie Piper's acting career has eclipsed her musical one, yet she's still expected to anwer questions about Because We Want To, so why shouldn't Kelle answer questions about her past? Being a member of Eternal is what she's famous for. She's always answered the questions honestly and with dignity and respect, so you can't really ask much more of her.
Thanks a lot for posting the article! I only found out about it today unfortunately, but EJ from Kelle's team is trying to get hold of the rest of the photos for the official site.
IWBTOO was released throughout 1997 in many countries, some in 1998. The Daily Record article is also wrong when it says Easther and Kelle were reconciled by Kelle going on Love Island. She had already met her in the Spring for the planned tour which got cancelled.
I remember Jayne saying she didn't like Good Thing. Jamie then said she couldn't say that kind of thing but she wasn't bothered. I thought at the time it was a bit rude that they never gave a negative opinion about anything else on the program and couldn't see why they would include those rather pointless few seconds.
